WorldTeach WorldTeach is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides
opportunities for individuals to make a meaningful contribution to
international education by living and working as volunteer teachers in
developing countries. WorldTeach China has helped Roy Chan to further develop his teaching abroad experience in East Asia.
TeachOverseas.org TeachOverseas.org is a interdenominational ministry that offers believes to have transformed lives in a dozen different countries through
hundreds of summer and year-long programs teaching conversational
English. TeachOverseas.org has provided Roy Chan a full scholarship to teach English for one summer in China at Peking University.
OneWorld Classrooms OneWorld Classrooms is a nonprofit organization
based in Saratoga Springs, NY and Haverhill, MA that involves K-12
classrooms and schools from around the world to
foster cross-cultural understanding in the context of the
K-12 curriculum by building bridges
of learning between the classrooms
of the world through the arts and technology. OneWorld Classrooms has donated various artworks to Roy Chan to utilize during his teaching abroad experience with WorldTeach.
Rural Education Action Project(REAP) The Rural Education Action Project(REAP)
seeks to address both the social need
of providing assistance to the rural poor and the absence of academic
research that can aid scholars and policymakers to understand the
problem and come up with creative policy solutions.
REAP has assisted Roy Chan in his current research on the education
development and issue of rural China.
International China Concern International China Concern is a Christian development organization
bringing love, hope and opportunity to China’s abandoned and disabled. International China Concern has provided Roy Chan an opportunity to volunteer in a orphanage during his free time outside WorldTeach in Hengyang, Hunan Province, China.
China Institute in America The China Institute in America goal is to advance a deeper understanding of China through
programs in education, culture, business and art in the belief that
cross-cultural understanding strengthens our global community. The China Institute in America has provided Roy Chan a free membership to their organization.
Yale-China Association The Yale-China Association is a private, nonprofit organization with more
than a century of experience contributing to the development of
education in and about China and to the furtherance of understanding and
knowledge between Chinese and American people. The Yale-China Association has provided Roy Chan an opportunity to assist in the Chia Health Program sponsored through Yale-China to address unmet health needs among vulnerable populations in communities
in Hunan.
EnCorps The EnCorps Teachers Program is a nonprofit that represents the
innovative public-private partnership dedicated to increasing the number
of much-needed math and science teachers in California’s public middle
and high schools. EnCorps has provided Roy Chan to develop a cooperative relationship with Jennifer Anastasoff, Founding CEO and President of EnCorps Teachers Program.
Greenpeace Greenpeace is a non-governmental environmental organization
whose goal is to ensure the ability of the earth to
nurture life
in all its diversity. Greenpeace is a supporting member of Roy Chan.
Samaritan's Purse Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian
organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people
around the world. Samaritan's Purse has supported Roy Chan various ministry projects through eBay, Inc.
WorldVision WorldVision is an international Christian relief and development organization whose goal is to
follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in working with the poor and
oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness
to the good news of the Kingdom of God. WorldVision has assisted Roy Chan in various developing ministry projects at UCI.
American Red Cross The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization
that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief and education inside
the United States, and is the designated U.S. affiliate of the International Federation of Red Cross. The American Red Cross has provided Roy Chan a CPR & First Aid Certification as well as a licensed Babysitting Certification.
Long Beach Museum of Art The Long Beach Museum of Art is a community-based organization that
collects and cares for a permanent art collection, presents changing
exhibitions in a variety of media and provides engaging educational
programming for youth and adults. The Long Beach Museum of Art is a supporting member of Roy Chan.
Long Beach Museum of Latin American Art(MOLAA) The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) was founded in 1996 in Long
Beach, California and serves the greater Los Angeles area. MOLAA is the
only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary
Latin American art. MOLAA’s focus is
on strengthening its position as a multidisciplinary institution
providing a cross-cultural dialogue between artists, the scholarly

Los Angeles Master Chorale The Los Angeles Master Chorale is an independent and innovative professional vocal ensemble that shares
the traditional and evolving spectrum of choral music with the widest
possible audience. We advance this art through performance, community
